Inspired by the great US bassist Louis Johnson’s work the set runs from Louis’ time with Billy Preston in 1972 through to his own band The Brothers Johnson and the Quincy Jones-produced hits on which he played. The gig features three brilliant singers, a deeply grooving rhythm section, powerhouse horns and a tribute to the late, great, Quincy Jones. If you like 606 regulars All Fired Up you’ll love this!
