These four leading figures of world jazz place improvisational interplay at the band's core, alternating pressing dynamics and rhythms, with melodic ideas, and light, airy, soft sounds in which one senses the stubbornness in the search not for the effect but rather for the necessity of every single note.
The result is a high-energy jazz-fusion project that leads the listener on a compelling musical journey through Latin, Afro and modern jazz rhythms. Music that unfolds organically, becoming beautiful moment by moment.
Following highly successful tours throughout the 2020s, performing music from the acclaimed album Stories, the Project returns to Europe this spring to present Tom Kennedy’s latest release New Start - produced and mixed by Dave Weckl.
