From the iconic cool of the 1950s to the fiery innovations of his later eras, this is a powerhouse tribute to an icon of style, and restless reinvention.
Mornington Lockett
Saxophonist, composer, arranger and teacher Mornington Lockett studied at Dartington College of Arts, gaining a first class honours degree, before moving to London to attend the Guildhall School of Music And Drama as a post-graduate. As a member of the Ronnie Scott Quintet, Mornington toured widely, in the U.K. and internationally.
Alistair Martin
Trumpeter and Composer Alistair Martin has been described as having a “compelling and visionary sound”. After studying Jazz at the Royal Academy of Music, he released his debut album ‘Oblivion’ in 2021 on Unit Records (Presto Music), to acclaim from publications Jazzthing, Jazz’n’More and Concerto Magazine.
