Currently studying on scholarship at Trinity Laban Conservatoire (and previously Junior Guildhall). Joe is in demand both as a leader, sideman and composer. He fronts his own quartet - who recently performed a sold out set at the Trinty Laban Union - as well as performing around London at venues such as Pizza Express Soho, Hideaway Jazz Club, Karamel, and London Jazz Festival – as well as touring around the Uk.
Joe’s latest project brings together a quartet of London jazz rising stars Johnathan Vel, Finlay Mackenzie and Douglas Wright to perform a set of Joe’s original music and hand- picked compositions. Featuring intense spiritual energy, complex interplay, and a relentless forward momentum, the group aim to honour the stylistic legacy of John Coltrane and his infamous quartet.
