I tend to think of him as a true, pure of heart person and musician. He never took money for his contribution in films. He only got paid through Royalties. Zambetas loved Athens, he loved Greece, he loved life.
We are not trying to replicate his sound in any way as this would be impossible. This concert is a tribute from three Sevdalides to another. We commemorate the man, the musician, the kind human he was. It is therefore with pride that we present a selection of Zambetas masterpieces. Some known, some not so much…
