Mini Folk Presents: Afternoon Concert & Craft Session
A warm and creative gathering for toddlers, parents, carers – and anyone who loves music and making things.
We invite you and your little ones to The Old Church, Stoke Newington, for a cosy afternoon concert led by Scottish singer-songwriter Adam Beattie ft some of London's finest musicians as guests, alongside a hands-on spring craft table hosted by Mini Folk organiser Dila V.
Craft Time:
Celebrate the season with spring-themed animal portraits using leaves, natural textures, and sparkles. There will also be plenty of playful craft materials for open, sensory creativity.
About the Music:
Adam Beattie is a celebrated voice on the London music scene. A Scottish guitarist and songwriter active since 2003, he has released five albums and performed widely across the UK and Europe. His music draws from Scottish folk traditions, old-time jazz, blues, and storytelling songwriting, carried by his warm, distinctive voice.
Expect rich vocal storytelling, gentle grooves, toe-tapping tunes, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that grown-ups can really enjoy, while the kids dance, wriggle, draw, lie on the floor, or simply take it all in.
Come as you are.
No pressure.
Lots of joy.
Leave with leaves stuck to your jumper and a song in your head. 🍁🎶
