Inspired by the sounds and spirit of the 1970s, her music combines warmth, honesty and rich musicality with lyrics that explore travel, solitude, connection and resilience.
Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut studio album Lost En Route, Sorrel has toured extensively across the UK, performing at festivals including Black Deer, Isle of Wight and Cambridge Folk Festival, alongside multiple national headline tours. Her performances range from delicate acoustic intimacy to soaring full-band arrangements, all anchored by what Black Deer Festival co-founder Gill Tee described as “a voice off the scale stunning”.
