Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, W1D 4HT , [Venue Details]Neue Grafik is the moniker of London-based producer Fred N’thepe, whose distinctive sound fuses jazz, house and hip hop with influences drawn from his African heritage, Parisian background, and an enduring connection to London’s broken beat and grime scenes.
He first emerged within the Total Refreshment Centre community, quickly establishing himself as a key voice in the city’s evolving jazz landscape, with releases on labels including Rhythm Section, 22a, CoOp Presents and WOLF Music.
Since then, he has collaborated with artists including Nubya Garcia, Emma-Jean Thackray, Brother Portrait, Lord Apex and Allysha Joy, and is also the founder of ORII, one of London’s key jam sessions and an incubator for next-generation jazz talent.
His new album Rachael, released earlier this year, is his most ambitious project to date. Inspired by the character of Rachael from Blade Runner, it explores love in all its forms - intimate, raw, fragile and honest - offering an emotional, deeply textured journey that balances lightness with depth.
