Led by brothers Ben and Emile Martyn, The Fallen Heroes combine the sounds of Charles Street, NOLA, with the attitude and character of Camden Town, London. Having spent their formative years immersed in the legendary New Orleans jazz scene, the Martyn brothers grew up surrounded by some of the finest musicians in the tradition, thanks to their father, jazz drummer, producer, and New Orleans music historian Barry Martyn.
Their music carries the warmth, swing, and street-party spirit of New Orleans, but with a fresh London twist. Expect catchy original tunes, joyful rhythms, heart-warming melodies, a dash of ska, and plenty of that unmistakable second-line feel. Let the band transport you from South London to the streets of the Crescent City.
