After honing his craft in Los Angeles, Tjoe settled in the UK with a singular mission: to create a collective that bridges the gap between his Eastern roots and Western grooves.
The result is NTBM (Not To Be Missed). Less a traditional band, more a living musical diary. What started as a creative experiment has evolved into a powerhouse collective of top-tier London talent, translating Tjoe’s life experiences into an explosive mix of urban jazz, fusion and soul.
This core unit has taken their "East-Meets-West" sound from underground jam sessions to the legendary stage of Ronnie Scott’s and a breakout performance at the Love Supreme Festival. In 2025, the collective reached new heights with a trilogy of singles that showcase their evolving narrative: the high-octane "You Want Some?", atmospheric, fan-favourite "Purple Skyline" (featuring Natalie Oliveri), and sun-soaked, groove-heavy "Caribbean Sunset" (featuring steel pan player J_Colurz).
