Dave Burn came to national attention as vocalist and guitarist of now defunct alt-country Americana band Ahab, enjoying a whirlwind period on the Americana scene, gathering famous fans such as BBC Radio DJ’s Bob Harris and Simon Mayo along the way. He currently performs alongside singer-songwriter Kirsten Adamson in harmony laden duo The Marriage, and much respected UK Americana band Orphan Colours.
Based in Paris, singer-songwriter Barbara Forstner draws inspiration for her songs from literature and cinema, composing deeply personal stories that reflect her vision of the world and human relationships. Her current release, Long Long Gone, is an acoustic album, raw and vulnerable, tackling friendship, love and family, and the fragile beauty and melancholy of the world. Written between New York and Paris, the album explores lost love, eroding friendships, life abroad and fleeting encounters.
