Known for her warm, smoky voice and intimate style, she has earned a reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive jazz singers, drawing listeners into songs that are rich with emotion and storytelling.

Her breakthrough came when Iggy Pop played tracks from her album Weathering The Storm on his BBC Radio 6 Music show, calling her “a very fine jazz singer”. Since then, her albums have received widespread critical acclaim, with When Winter Turns To Spring winning Album of the Year at the 2023 Parliamentary Jazz Awards, and The Path Of A Tear attracting multiple four and five-star reviews internationally.

Joined by guitarist Jamie McCredie and pianist Sam Watts, Jo brings a beautifully stripped-back performance featuring songs from her acclaimed albums alongside music from the Great American Songbook, Bacharach, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits and Bonnie Raitt.
