The Olly Mux Quartet

Crazy Coqs Cabaret, W1F 7ED , [Venue Details]

As summer draws to a close, jazz pianist and vocalist Olly Mux is delighted to be returning to Crazy Coqs for an autumnal mix of swinging standards and heartfelt ballads, alongside a generous smattering of cheeky originals.

Thursday,
10 Sep 2026
@6.30pm

Olly Mux is one of London’s most vibrant jazz voices, a rare talent that holds his own both at the keys and behind the mic. As a singer, Olly is recognised for his distinctive bass-baritone voice, and has been compared in sound to lower-voiced singers such as Johnny Hartman and Joe Williams. Alongside his quartet, he strives to prove that jazz ought to be fun, playful and approachable to all.

He is joined this time around by a different line-up to usual – a classic jazz-quartet setup, including the ever-delightful Lewis Taylor on trumpet, Benjamin Crane on bass, and George Prentice-Povey on drums.

“Sultry, cask-aged vocal tones” and “a dark-velvet potpourri of all the right influences, seamlessly blended with a liberal dash of his own native individuality and sparkle”
North London Jazz Collective
