Joined by her long time guitarist, Sam Dunn, Carmichael dives into 1930s and ’40s favourites from Gershwin, Fats Waller, Cole Porter, Peggy Lee, and more, creating a night that’s spirited, soulful, and not to be missed.
Judy keeps a busy international touring schedule from Carnegie Hall to a concert in Rio for ten thousand Brazilians; from sharing the stage with the London Philharmonic at Arundel Castle to Castle Fraser for the National Trust of Scotland at the behest of long-time fan Cameron Macintosh.
A frequent guest on the BBC, Judy also hosts her own weekly radio show/podcast in the States, Judy Carmichael’s Jazz Inspired, talking with celebrated artists who love jazz, everyone from Jools Holland and Billy Joel to Julie Andrews and Jeff Goldblum.
