Mark de Clive-Lowe
Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, W1D 4HT , [Venue Details]Mark de Clive-Lowe returns to Ronnie Scott's following last year's acclaimed appearance with his Hotel San Claudio project, this time stripping things back to the essential trio format of piano, bass and drums.
Augmented by the technology-infused approach and visionary live production that have become the signatures of his live shows.
Drawing from across his Dreamweavers albums alongside selections from Heritage, CHURCH and other works from his genre-defying catalogue, Mark will move fluidly between jazz improvisation, broken beat rhythms, soulful groove and live reinterpretation.
A Japanese-New Zealand pianist, composer, producer and live performer, de Clive-Lowe has built an internationally respected career through his distinctive fusion of jazz, electronic music and real-time production. Emerging from London's influential broken beat movement before spending fifteen years in Los Angeles, he has developed a singular musical language that bridges acoustic improvisation, contemporary composition, electronic innovation and cinematic soundscapes.
Described by Jazziz as “designing the blueprint” for jazz hybridity long before it became a global phenomenon, de Clive-Lowe continues to evolve through projects spanning live performance, film scoring, installation-oriented works, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
