More dates available

Drawing inspiration from legendary artists including Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Bessie Smith and Dinah Washington, she revisits the songs and stories that have shaped her musical identity.

Born in Roanoke, Virginia, Judi grew up singing in church and playing piano before an early breakthrough saw her open for Mavis Staples at 16 and later record with Snarky Puppy on their Grammy-winning album Family Dinner: Volume One. Now based in London, she has gone on to perform at the Southbank Centre for the London Jazz Festival and Chaka Khan’s Meltdown Festival, appear on Later... with Jools Holland, and present a string of sold-out shows at Ronnie Scott’s.

For this special performance, Judi is joined by an exceptional trio featuring Jamie Safir (piano), Mikele Montolli (bass) and Will Cleasby (drums), for a set of intimate ballads, swinging blues and powerful arrangements. Expect a celebration of the enduring influence of the blues through the voice of an artist renowned for her emotional depth and magnetic stage presence.
