Join for an evening of fabulous folk music, try your hand at some crafts and witness contemporary sound art and durational performance, culminating in group dance – curated by shelf/break with mentorship from Boundless Theatre.
shelf/break is the combined practice of Jane Morris and Néa Ishana Ranganathan, focused on anti-imperialist and site-responsive curatorial work and live art practices. Their flagship project is called ‘undeveloped’: a DIY residency for oppressed artists working in any form. They host moments for community/gathering, support emerging creatives, agitate towards liberation, and dream the world as it might be.
Making their start with presenting plays on stages, Boundless Theatre has grown to involve various creative projects including podcasts, music, and performances on the phone and through the post. You might catch them in a park mixing tunes on a random Sunday, but they are also on the frontlines of youth-led change. Boundless has produced international festivals, hosted youth summits, and brought radical imagination into schools.
