For the next of our concert session series, we look forward to welcoming back Tad Sargent who will be accompanying James O'Grady on uilleann pipes and fiddle, John Rynne on flute

Tad Sargent is our concert session series host and guitarist. He has been delighted to see the interest in this new series, and looks forward to opening the project’s Summer season with these next two mighty guests.

James O’Grady
James O’Grady is a highly respected musician. A brilliant uilleann piper and fiddle player, he brings a lift to any session he joins. He has toured the world extensively with Cara Dillon and also Sin E. He has also recorded with Cara Dillon on a number of her albums.

John Rynne
John Rynne, from County Clare and living in London in 2015, is a co-founder of The Ennis Trad Festival and a publican, most recently associated with The Brendan The Navigator Freehouse in Highgate. He plays traditional Clare flute and has appeared in various recordings and frequently on TG4’s Geantrai and RTE radio’s ceilihouse programmes. John loves traditional set-dance music and has played and guested with some well-known ceili bands including The Kilfenora, Shaskeen, The Templehouse, Fisherstreet and The Gold Ring.
