One of the foremost exponents of the mainstream jazz tradition, Allen is renowned for his warm tone, melodic invention and effortless swing. Over the course of a distinguished international career, he has performed and recorded with artists including Tony Bennett, Ray Brown, John Pizzarelli and Kenny Barron. His playing draws on the lineage of great tenor saxophonists such as Stan Getz and Zoot Sims while maintaining a distinctive voice of his own.

Joining him is Martin Sasse, one of Europe's leading jazz pianists, whose elegant touch and deep sense of swing have made him a sought-after collaborator on the international jazz scene. Together, Allen and Sasse share a musical rapport rooted in the Great American Songbook and the classic small-group jazz tradition.

The quartet is completed by bassist Conor Chaplin and Austrian drummer Bernd Reiter, two highly regarded musicians whose experience and sensitivity provide the ideal foundation for this transatlantic collaboration.
