Following the release of her debut album Rising Sun in 2023, Erdenebaatar has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting emerging artists on the European jazz scene. Inspired by journeys, encounters and the natural world, her music explores the meeting point between tradition and innovation, balancing intricate composition with the freedom of improvisation.
For this performance, she brings together a quartet of exceptional young European musicians: saxophonist Simon Comté, bassist Nils Kugelmann and drummer Amir Bresler. Together they create an energetic and deeply interactive sound, shaped by intricate interplay, improvisation and a shared sense of musical exploration.
