@7.30pm

As the original, pioneering, all-female folk act, a host of celebrated musicians have passed through the lineup, helping shape the band’s ever-evolving sound.

Their acclaimed 2018 album Punch was a bold, genre-bending collection packed with attitude, humour, and stunning musicianship, and now they return with a record that pushes even further, folding punk, pop and country influences alongside their gleefully grungy Trad-based instrumentals.

The latest chapter in the band’s line-up sees founding member Mary Macmaster joined by long-standing favourites Eilidh Shaw and Sarah McFadyen alongside new members Michael Bryan and Donald Hay –bringing fresh energy while celebrating the spirit that has made The Poozies one of folk music’s most pioneering and beloved acts.

Expect an exhilarating live performance where traditional tunes collide with influences from punk, pop and country, creating a sound that’s fresh, vibrant and uniquely their own.
