Their highly varied output maintains focus by continually seeking to connect multiple – seemingly distant – sonic worlds.
On last year's ‘Languid Haunt the Trees’ (33-33), the duo developed upon the morphing, bass-heavy sounds of their debut album ‘climbing/holding/falling’ (Halcyon Veil) expanding on their worldbuilding through greater lyrical expression, while still delivering a diverse selection of instrumentation utilising flutes, saxophone, and warped pianos. In Lol K’s "genreless" live set, Jersey kicks clash against doom-laden atmospherics, soaring string sections, and detuned riffs.
