Inspired from an early age by the great jazz pioneers, Marvin has gone on to perform at leading venues across the UK and internationally, appearing with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, the Down for the Count Orchestra and the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra.
He has also appeared on both The Voice and Britain's Got Talent, released two acclaimed albums, and recently fulfilled a lifelong ambition by launching his own swing orchestra, Big Marv's Big Fat Band.
Following a nomination for Jazz Artist of the Year at the 2024 Boisdale Music Awards, Marvin has now been nominated for Jazz Vocalist of the Year at the 2026 Jazz FM Awards. With over 200 performances a year and a reputation as one of the most captivating live performers on the UK jazz scene, this is a chance to catch a rising star at the top of his game.
