Singing in English, Italian, French and Portuguese, she combines original songs with a love of jazz improvisation, French chanson and Brazilian rhythms to create a sound that is elegant, cinematic and unmistakably her own.
A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Ivy Knights has performed alongside acclaimed artists including Gregory Porter, Joe Stilgoe and The London Community Gospel Choir, appearing at venues including the Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican, as well as concert halls across the UK and Europe.
Her debut EP, Live at the Lightship, marks the arrival of a distinctive new voice in British jazz, blending sophisticated songwriting with stories gathered from a life lived across languages, cultures and continents.
