Every Sunday afternoon from 1-4 pm, master conga player Williams Cumberbache, with over 30 years in the UK music scene and collaborations with legends like Goldie and Björk. Each week Williams will be joined by special guest bands bringing amazing live music to Hackney Wick every week with something different.
Ideal for families, friends, and music lovers alike and even your dog will enjoy this uplifting experience which is all about connection, relaxation, and the joy of live music—an essential part of Grow’s vibrant community.
Rakino Quartet is led by New Zealand-born trumpeter and cornet player Andy Watts. Their music draws on Afrobeat, jazz, psychedelia and New Zealand dub, with Watts’ effects-heavy horn cutting across hypnotic grooves and open improvisation. Following their 2024 debut album The Way Back From Here, they recently released Floating Out Here Above My Existential Dread, the latest single from their forthcoming second album, Backwards Into The Beyond.
