Taking the exploratory spirit of groups like Polar Bear and Malija, the band move together through a common language of jazz, rock, classical and free improvisation exploring dark textures and dramatic musical shifts as they revel in the unexpected!
All crucial musicians and composers on the UK music scene, between them Shapeshifter have played with a glittering array of artists including: Dave Holland, Django Bates, Jim Black, Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone, Laura Jurd, Rob Luft, Elliot Galvin, Polar Bear, Perfect Houseplants, Loose Tubes and Radiohead.
