The Dublin Castle, NW1 7AN , [Venue Details]Mansion- drawing on the classic sounds of the '60s, '70s and '80s while incorporating contemporary influences. “We're influenced as much by Pink Floyd and Bruce Springsteen as we are by Phoebe Bridgers and Fontaines D.C” - good stuff.
Present Company - with their release ‘The Light’ doing good business on streaming, this folk tinged alt/indie band have a warm, melodic sound that is very welcoming on the ears.
Somewhere between REM and Hawkwind (space rocking FX ahoy!), this is a very promising outfit.
Jahmed - German groovers playing some excellent frugby-able stuff that certainly bears the hallmarks of their Kosmiche forebears plusGerman groovers playing some excellent frugable stuff that certainly bears the hallmarks of their Kosmiche (Can/Neu!) forebears plus not a little Mondays/Charlatans Brit baggy beat and maybe even something of Focus and other progadelic folky stuff like that. Excellent. Got good tunes too.
