This isn't a night where everyone is expected to sit quietly and watch from a distance - it is a seisiún. The O’Neill family will be joined by musicians, singers and friends from across London's Irish community for a night where the boundary between audience and performer is allowed to disappear.
There will be songs. There will be tunes. There will almost certainly be musicians who weren't originally planning to play, finding themselves with an instrument in their hands.
And anybody coming through the doors should feel that they are being welcomed into the gathering rather than simply attending it. Come in, have a drink and be part of it. That's what the October Seis has always been about.
