Drawing on the rich relationship between jazz and soul, this special evening revisits a decade of extraordinary songwriting and some of the era’s most enduring songs. Expect to hear favourites from Marvin Gaye, Dionne Warwick and Donny Hathaway.
Best known for her work with the London Community Gospel Choir and as the vocalist on Basement Jaxx’s Top 10 hit ‘Oh My Gosh’, Vula has also sung alongside artists including Quincy Jones, Jules Buckley and Kurt Elling. Her powerhouse vocals make her a natural choice to celebrate this golden age of music.
