Blending her Japanese heritage and her newfound home in England, Komorebi reflects her deep connection to the natural world and marries together different cultures, genres and languages. Join us for an evening where worlds will collide, and blossoms will bloom.

Nina 仁奈 is a jazz vocalist and pianist from Tokyo. Having Japanese and American family, she naturally has a broad global perspective and a deeply creative, open minded outlook. After relocating to London to study jazz at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, she spent years honing her musicianship and sophisticated harmonic language, and refining her singular identity as a vocalist, pianist, and composer.

With her captivating debut album, Komorebi (木漏れ日), Nina presents a sun dappled collection of songs inspired by the sights, sounds and stillness of the natural world. Komorebi is a Japanese word describing the beauty of light shining through the leaves of the trees.
