An Evening with The Lady Petrol Band
Crazy Coqs Cabaret, W1F 7ED , [Venue Details]The Lady Petrol Band will be bringing a night of soulful, poignant and, at times, witty jazz/soul bleached Americana to Crazy Coqs.
Expect fabulous, soaring vocals, some extremely natty piano and guitar playing, and a collection of tightly constructed songs about a whole heap of things, mostly about living a London life with all that entails from the band’s debut mini album. They’ll be playing a few well chosen covers too, and who knows, may even have a well known guest or two join them on stage.
Meg Cavanaugh (vocals), Graham Farnworth (guitar/vocals) and William South (piano/guitar) met playing in the house band on Punch Drunk Theatre’s The Drown Man show and have been working together ever since, refining their individual sounds, and collectively too, as songwriters and performers.
The Lady Petrol Band is their vehicle for showcasing their art and revealing the beating heart of London Town in all its ragged glory.
