The noted bassist Dave Jones leads this super funky line up featuring some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians with Dave Outram, guitar, Chris Eldred, keys, Tristan Maillot, drums together with Sandra-Mae Lux on vocals and tenor saxophone and Demi Garcia Sabat on percussion.

The show explores Dave's’ arrangements of classic jazz funk and Latin tunes as well as some original tracks from Sandra-Mae Lux. Expect a dynamic evening steeped in the blues and soul with spacious grooves, blistering highs and improvisation of the highest level with tunes from George Duke, Patrice Rushen, Angela Bofill, Herbie Hancock and Steve Wonder.

Dave's bass playing in recent years has included his own group Dave Jones’ Nonet, Ronnie Scott’s Soul and Jazz Orchestra, Tom Seals, Brandon Allen and Julian Costello as well as performing with top UK musicians such as Pete Long, Jacqui Dankworth, Frank Griffith and John Etheridge.

With Dave Jones on bass, tonight’s super group includes award winning vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Sandra-Mae Lux whose debut album “Happily Ever Now” reached #3 in the UK Soul Charts, Mike Outram, one of the most versatile and creative jazz guitarists in the UK, the much celebrated keyboardist Chris Eldred and top drummer Tristan Mailliot along with acclaimed Spanish percussionist Demi Garcia Sabat.
