Courting Ghosts fuse elements of Indie Americana, and folk music with occasional touches of Rock and Jazz, positioning melody at the heart of their compositions.
This melody-centric approach is evident in their expansive acoustic ballads as well as their high-energy, rhythm-driven songs.
The band released their debut album, “Falling My Friend” in September 2024 to rave reviews, with Americana UK giving it an 8 out of 10 saying "‘Falling My Friend’ immediately impresses with its songwriting, arrangements and production..... This is an excellent first album which places Courting Ghosts in the company of an increasingly strong home-grown Americana scene."
Support: Demo Buttons are Chris Barratt & Joe Kinsey. Formerly of folk-rockers Billy Vincent, they lean occasionally into their former songbook while delivering new songs cut from the same cloth.
