A master of piano and Hammond organ, Luke has been one of the UK’s most respected live musicians for over two decades, performing and recording with legends including Chaka Khan, Roy Ayers, B. B. King, and famously as part of George Michael’s band. His playing blends jazz, gospel, funk, and soul, reflecting the rich cultural fusion of contemporary Black music.
‘Up Close and Personal’ offers a rare opportunity to experience Luke’s music in its purest form. Expect a mix of his own compositions, new material, and inventive covers, evolving organically from the band’s improvisation and interplay.
