As pioneers of People Music, The Smoogies promote inclusivity through their art, a philosophy showcased in their second album. They are now preparing to unveil their third album—a vibrant live recording captured in their home state of Florida. Their journey began with a buzz-generating feature on The Chivertone Sessions, which caught the attention of trumpeter Nicholas Payton and led to their debut release, Planet Smoogies.

Each member has performed on stages worldwide, contributing their talents to acclaimed acts like Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Marcus Strickland, Richard Bona, Ettiene Charles and Kirk Franklin. Their versatility as both leaders and collaborators highlights their collective prowess.
