London-based trio Half Star offer a warm, heady mix of alternative rock and folk forms. Their melodies come as if instinct, with hypnotic vocals ghosting over jangling guitar riffs and jazz-inflected drums.
Red Ivory are a 4 piece band from South East London with a grungy, post-punk, prog sound. Their music incorporates strong bass-lines, melodic vocals, "big riffs and whiplash drums" to create a sound that is unapologetically intense yet playful.
