Rage Against the Tagine is a London-based jazz fusion ensemble that blends contemporary jazz with the musical traditions of North Africa, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean. Formed by a collective of musicians active on London's vibrant jazz scene, the band combines improvisation, deep grooves, electric textures, and hypnotic melodies to create a distinctive cross-cultural sound. Their music draws on North African rhythms and modal traditions while embracing the spontaneity and energy of modern jazz.
The group's lineup has featured saxophonist Joe Browne, guitarist Christian Miller, bassist Marcus Penrose, and drummer Adam Teixeira whose credits range from London jazz scene such as Shez Raja and Shirley Smart to Manouche jazz legends Adrien Moingard.
